There are many vibrant and unique neighborhoods within the Havenwoods community. Our goal is to highlight these great neighborhoods and spread the word about why these neighborhoods are in high demand.

 

THE LIGHTHOUSE NEIGHBORHOOD

 

Anchored by the Redemption Lutheran Church and the Lighthouse Youth Center, the Lighthouse Neighborhood is a middle market neighborhood that enjoys tree lined streets, large back yards and plenty of space for families to enjoy.

When visiting the Lighthouse Neighborhood you'll see the immediate sense of neighborhood pride in the well maintained homes, the block watch association and the active Lighthouse Youth Center.

LIGHTHOUSE YOUTH CENTER
OUR MISSION

The mission of Lighthouse is to be a beacon for Christ to the youth of the community.

AGE GROUPS

All youth ages 10-18 will be able to use the Lighthouse Youth Center free of charge.

GOALS AND BENEFITS

The benefits of Lighthouse Youth Center will extend beyond the youth who use it. Lighthouse Youth Center will provide the community with a central location where youth can gather safely for recreational activities, receive assistance on their academic assignments, enjoy the positive influence of adult Christian mentors, and have opportunities to study and discuss the truths of Scripture. Through collaborative partnerships with nearby schools, we will be able to focus on the scholastic needs of individual children and assist them in the most effective way. Families will see their children reflecting the Christ-like attitude that includes healthy morals and respectful relationships between child and adult. Parents will be able to use Lighthouse as a partner in raising their family.

Community service projects will be organized to encourage a sense of neighborhood pride. Most importantly, the truths of Scripture will be taught, and the love of Christ will permeate everything we do.

LIGHTHOUSE TOUR OF HOMES OCT. 9th 2010

Please join us Saturday Oct. 9th 2010 for our 3rd Tour of Homes.On this tour we will be viewing 10 homes in the Lighthouse Neighborhood. Before the tour we will have a brief housing workshop provided by Housing Resources Inc. Refreshments will be served prior to going out on the tour.
