Milwaukee neighborhoods are known for their beautiful parks. Havenwoods is no exception. The Havenwoods State Forest, Wisconsin’s only urban forest, offers the ideal setting for afternoon bikes & family picnics.
Those who enjoy sports gather at the beautiful McGovern Park for a game of basketball, football, or baseball.
Residents and visitors to the area can also enjoy the many activities that our own Uihlein Soccer Facility has to offer. Uihlein Soccer Park is home to the Milwaukee Kickers, and the Milwaukee Wave. This soccer park has an annual exposure of over 950,000 people per year. Most of the spectators and event participants are from Milwaukee, Ozaukee, and Waukesha Counties; however, certain tournaments and events draw spectators from the surrounding states. The Milwaukee Kickers Socer Club holds sic club youth tournaments per year and Uihlien sSoccer Park holds three tournaments annually for yout and adults.
All Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club tournaments are held at Uihelin Soccer Park . Uihlein Soccer Park utilized its three indoor soccer field to host soccer leagues for youth and adults throughout the fall and winter. Players also enjoy an adult indoor summer league. In addition to club/park events, Uihlein Soccer Park is the home field for the Milwaukee Wave United Outdoor Soccer Team.
